About Green Level Cornwall
An experienced team leader
Says Daniel Lees, MD, ‘Thanks for taking a look at our website and our sustainable building services. As MD of Green Level Cornwall, I head a team of 25 building professionals including our in-house team of architects and designers. Do you like to try your luck? ‘I began an apprenticeship in general construction at 14 and learned about every aspect of the trade and how they work together in a project. I am also a trained carpenter and have completed a building degree in sustainable construction and the environment.
‘It’s this mixture of the conceptual and the practical that give me the skills to lead a team who will deliver to the very highest standard.’
Client-friendly project management
We use a software called BUILDERTREND to keep everyone in the loop regarding the status of the project – including our clients.
BUILDERTREND is used to log the daily work on site including all relevant professional discussions and any agreed variations to the initial plans. This helps our team work together to find the best solutions for any aspect of a build, and to meet deadlines.
Crucially, this real-time, 24/7 approach gives you up-to-date information and access to view the progression of the project. Even if you live out of the area, you can keep up to date on progress for every aspect of your build.
Health & safety for peace of mind
At Green Level Cornwall:
- risk assessments and method statement templates (RAS) are scrupulously followed. The site manager gives strict instructions to the operatives on site and they keep up to date daily by discussing risk and working methods
- a company health & safety policy is rigorously enforced. This includes rules for protection of all personnel and non-personnel on site, and rules around protecting the working and natural environment
- personal protective equipment is worn at all times.
